Wow what a stressful year that has been, but absolutely brilliant.

I have enjoyed experimenting with different techniques and really finding my niche within printed textiles.
I started off mainly working in photoshop and illustrator. I thought that was what is was best at....i guess I was playing it safe; not experimenting to my full potential.....sooooo I wanted to start using the original methods of printing, making screens and mixing my own dyes. This definitely made me think differently and in a way that experimenting is key to the development of my designs and way of thinking.
I havent managed to take photographs of my screen printed designs but heres a few of my experiments.....

Wow its been a while.....I have been very busy trying to get stuck into my second year of university. Specialising my degree in printed textiles I have been given a number of projects to design around a maximum of seven designs per project, including theme boards, colour boards and client boards.
Heres a few pieces of work that i have done so far ♥
Surface and structures
Lots and lost of things to show and tell. . . . . . . . . .

Southsea Deck chair Project
Theme Board

My love for flocking and foiling has developed and my ideas and thoughts of digital design has grown.
Designing prints for a Deck chair company!
The idea was to capture the essence of true British seaside landscapes. Taking Photographs is incredibly inspiring it gives me the ideas to start developing my thoughts and memories into printed textile designs.
